01Acceptance of Terms
By visiting our showroom, using our website, or placing an order with M. Mahendra Jewellers Private Limited ("we", "us", "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not proceed with a purchase.
02Pricing & Making Charges
Gold and silver jewellery is priced based on the prevailing metal rate on the day of billing, along with applicable making charges and wastage, which are disclosed to you before you confirm a purchase. Diamond and gemstone jewellery is priced based on carat weight, clarity, colour and certification. Prices displayed on our website or in-store are indicative and may vary with metal rate movements until the bill is generated.
03Hallmarking & Purity
All applicable gold jewellery sold by us is BIS hallmarked in accordance with prevailing regulations, and the purity (such as 22K/916 or 18K/750) is stated on the invoice. Diamonds sold with certification are accompanied by a certificate from a recognised gemological laboratory. Please retain your original bill, as it is required for any future exchange, buyback, resizing or warranty claim.
04Orders & Custom Jewellery
Custom or made-to-order jewellery is prepared based on the design, weight and specifications confirmed with you at the time of order, and may require an advance payment. Minor variations in weight, stone placement or finish may occur due to the handcrafted nature of the work. Custom orders, once confirmed, cannot generally be cancelled once production has begun, except at our discretion.
05Payments
We accept payment by cash (within limits prescribed by applicable law), card, UPI, bank transfer and other modes as available in-store. For high-value transactions, identity verification may be required in accordance with statutory requirements applicable to jewellers.
06Exchange, Buyback & Returns
Old gold exchange and buyback are accepted at our showroom, valued by testing purity and weight in your presence, at the rate applicable on that day. Plain gold jewellery may be eligible for exchange or return within the period communicated to you at the time of billing, subject to the item being unused and accompanied by the original bill. Customised pieces, engraved items, and stones once set are generally not eligible for return, except where required by law or agreed in writing.
07Repairs & Resizing
Repair, polishing and resizing services are offered on jewellery purchased from us, and on outside jewellery at our discretion, subject to an inspection and estimate shared with you in advance. Where any loss of weight or stones occurs during a repair due to the item's existing condition, we will inform you before proceeding.
08Delivery & Risk
Jewellery purchased in-store is handed over to you directly upon full payment and billing. Where delivery or courier of jewellery is arranged, appropriate insured packaging is used, and risk passes to you upon confirmed delivery at the address provided by you.
09Intellectual Property
All designs, photographs, logos and content displayed on our website and in-store are the property of M. Mahendra Jewellers Private Limited or used with permission, and may not be reproduced or used commercially without our prior written consent.
10Limitation of Liability
While we take care in the sale, storage and handling of jewellery, we are not liable for loss or damage arising from misuse, normal wear, or events beyond our reasonable control. Our liability, where applicable, is limited to the value of the item purchased or the service provided.
11Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with a purchase or these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Rajkot, Gujarat.
12Changes to These Terms
We may revise these Terms & Conditions from time to time to reflect changes in our policies or applicable law. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page indicates when the terms were last revised. Continued use of our showroom or website after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
